ROWING COACHING
As the lead UCanRow2 Master Rowing Instructor with Concept2, I help rowers refine their technique, build confidence on the machine and learn to row with greater efficiency and power. I also train coaches to integrate rowing into a wide variety of fitness settings.
My rowing career began at Georgia Tech in 1997, where I later coached the Freshman Women’s team for four years from 2001-2005. I also competed as a masters rower with Atlanta Rowing Club, Potomac Rowing Club, Capital Rowing Club, Thompson’s Boat Club and Virginia Boat Club. I helped direct the Atlanta Erg Sprints for a decade and played a key role in establishing GT Crew Alumni, where I remain an active board member.
Since moving to Albuquerque in 2021, I have focused exclusively on indoor rowing (no water here!). Although I now train primarily as a powerlifter, rowing remains an important part of my own conditioning - and I still try to log about 20,000 meters each week.
I believe rowing is for every BODY, regardless of age, experience or ability. Here you’ll find programs, coaching, seminars and resources to help you move efficiently, row powerfully and feel good doing it.
